While people say Pocillopora is a basic coral, this strain really looks amazing when happy. People looking at my tank always comment on it shimmering in the flow. Yes sometimes poci’s release polyps but i’s only happened to me 3 times in 16 years and I’ve never found it an issue. I just pick the baby’s off the rockwork as they pop up on the rare occasion it happens.
